Developed in Great Britain in 1928 but never entered service there. However, it was exported to other countries. In the mid-1930s, twenty vehicles of this type were sent to the Republic of China in three shipments. The vehicles in the second and third shipments had a turret featuring a rear niche for mounting a radio and special camouflage. These vehicles fought against Japanese troops in all battles for Shanghai in the fall of 1937. |
