Final Model Update for Star Conflict

Star Conflict will be shutting down its servers on October 10, 2026. This game brought me a lot of joy and kept me entertained for a long time on my Surface Pro 4. Before it dies, I want to request one last model update.

The main problem with the current models is that some states (such as the different hull modifications for all Ellydium ships) and some ship structures (such as the Spire's escape pod, which can be used as a fighter for skill activation) are missing for ships whose appearance can be changed through upgrades or state transitions.

Additionally, a large number of ship cannons, special ship modules (such as the Wazgot's combat platform), and some special ship-specific drones are also missing.

If you don't mind, I can compile these issues and report them as systematically as possible in this post.

Because of the impressive art design in this game and the happy times I spent playing it, I'm very willing to help with a model collection to be as perfect as possible.

I'll update and save the game files. I can't find the time right now, but I hope to update the models in the future. I hope to improve the models, even after support for the game ends.

Hello, I've recently been trying to extract art assets from Star Conflict so that Star Conflict can exist in another form, such as in X4 Foundations and t have some successful experimental semi-finished product results :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4sGlWd9Qfw. I previously used NinjaRipper for extraction, which yielded good results, but the assets were incomplete, and integrating and processing the models was very time-consuming and required the game server to be online. Later, I took a shortcut and downloaded the assets directly from your site. However, your assets are incomplete; you don't have the Dreadnought, the Ellydium variant, the alien ships and NP cargo ships, etc., and even some architectural models. Recently, I heard that Star Conflict is shutting down, so I continued this project. However, I successfully extracted the files using the quickbms extraction method that someone gave me on Discord. Then, I used different Python scripts in Noesis to extract the model and textures. The model extraction was successful, but the texture extraction had problems. The person who gave me the scripts extracted the textures successfully, but I got errors. I'm not sure what the problem is because I'm not a programmer; I'm just using an AI tool for Vibe coding. I saw someone on this forum ask a similar question about this problem 6 years ago: unable to correctly convert textures from a few KB TFH+TFD file, and using the same script.I was wondering if you could share your specific approach. I'm trying to solve this problem on my end. The person who gave me the scripts suggested it might be due to an incorrect Python version on my local machine; it works fine for them with the latest Noesis + Python 3.2.1. This is a bit of a challenge for me.crying

Oh, the answer was right there in the riddle! Half a day of fiddling around and I've solved this problem.angel
