Я, конечно, не специалист, но мне кажется что это явно не тот "Ульяновск". Вроде бы в игре до атомоходов не добрались :)

I'm certainly not an expert, but it seems to me that this is clearly not the same "Ulyanovsk". There are no nuclear aircraft carriers in the game.

I haven't been able to identify the project that this is supposedly based on. It's certainly not the same as the real-life Ulyanovsk that was to be a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier towards the end of the Cold War. However, upon researching the Secret Project Forums (great website) and looking through some of my resources, it could be one of a few things. https://imgur.com/YS1Am0D is an image of a carrier design study from 1959 that is visually similar to the Ulyanovsk in-game. I'm not sure it's large enough, however, and you'll note the lack of double turrets, although it must be said that this model of twin 130mm gun we see on the in-game ship was never put into service, it remained a prototype only.

Some have suggested it's a prototype for the Orel aircraft carrier design of the 1970s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_1153_Orel and I've also seen drawings of the Project 68 carrier conversions that don't look dissimilar to this ship. However, it could ofc be entirely made up with some of these other characteristics in mind to make a convincing ship for the game, even though ships like Kostromitinov's design (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/attachments/kostromitinov-jpg.98683/) would've been more impressive and interesting. 

You must remember though that ofc Lesta has great access to the Russian naval archives and may have seen things we can't access. Even so, I can find nothing concrete on what this ship is supposed to be based on. If anyone can, I'd love to know. Hopefully, this post has been of some interest to you guys :)

Это полностью фантазия. Я видел проект Ульяновска, там скорее атомный авианесущий крейсер. Много ПКР ракет, как у Петра Великого. Да и в габаритах он поболе этой фантазии будет. Мир кораблей это давно фантазия и дуристика.
