Aircraft undercarriage/landing gear

Hi Folks,

Firstly, many thanks MM for a great site and superb resources...so many projects! Ha ha devil........

I've searched the forum for anything on getting the undercarriage/landing gear for aircraft in all the different games, but I've not found anything.  Is it possible to have these modelled?

Or at least have the undercarriage modelled in the stowed position?

Many thanks

In WarThunder they are complete. You have to push pivot points (model axis) to the right places and then it works.

All aircraft from WoWS and WT have landing gear on the site. But the chassis is in the retracted state.

I don't know how to release them, because it seems to me that animation is responsible for this. Until now, I have not done animation.

In the gltf format, there must be pivots because the model is saved with a hierarchy. At least that's how it was intended.

Didn't know that because I prefere OBJ. Phantastic feature. Thank you.

Unfortunately even in the the gltf format there are no UC parts modelled, well not in the WT DH100 Vampire.

I suppose also it depends on what LOD you rip.  If it's not the main model but a lower LOD, then the UC isn't modlled, so can't be captured.

I'm opening the gltf model in MCX, and don't see any pivot points.  What programme shows them?

Blender.

I also test models in Blender.

Ok thanks, will use that.

MM, is it possible for you to capture other LODs of the models, or to capture models with the landing gear/undercarriage down?

OnThe site contains models with maximum detail. I do not plan to work with LODs.
