Missing models from WoWs ships

I have noted that multiple WoWs ships have model parts missing. Things like torpedoes, depth charges, planes and decorative parts like small boats, cranes and cargo.

The ship hit hardest by this is Z-23; several parts of the actual ship structure are missing:

Would it be possible to fix these?

Yes, almost all the warships of the first world war are missing boats.

SMS Moltke

HMS Agincourt

RM Dante ali....

USSR Izmail, etc.

It seems that you are not extracting the "port" version.

I think the port versions of the ships are assembled using the Children files. These also contain things like torpedoes and fighter planes and determine where those are placed in the ship.

A shame...

The removable parts are located at Technical (Destroyer, Cruiser, Battleship, etc). All nations have that section.

I think the only way to extract the "port" version is to make the extractor re-analyze the files that contain the information of the parts that each warship has. Hopefully Мастер Моделей takes a look at it. warships look empty without those parts (Boats, Supports of the boats, Cranes, Wires, etc).

Yesterday I spent four hours analyzing the Z-23, but I still could not figure out where these damn details go: the stand under the rangefinder, the platform under the front gun.

Why do they get lost? Why aren't others lost? Unclear.

It seems right. I found additional ports files.

It remains to figure out how to apply them. It seems that depending on different parameters, different additional files are used.

I think it is better to analyze other warships like for example the RM Dante Alighieri to see why your extractor doesn't detect the boats that it should have. A good way is to analyze the file that contains the information of the materials "IM526_Pirobarca_12_25m, IM538_Motobarca_13m, IM501_Barca_Diesel_10m" in order to see which mesh they are assigned to, perhaps it is a way to determine what prevents your extractor from detecting them.

This is what your boat looks like right now

This is how it should look.

By the way, this happens to you because WoWs changed its system, that is, the parts that were previously static are now removable and moved to "technical". The problem with that is that now the meshes do not have a name and that makes it very difficult to find those pieces manually.
They do not do that with all ships, they only do that with ships in which the rotation of the main weapon, secondary weapon or torpedoes, etc., interferes or collides with other models.

It seems to me that the point is that additional ports files are connected to the static ports file. There is one thing in the port, another in battle, another one in a special port, and they all still depend on the level of the hull. Models of individual pieces are assembled without problems, the problem is finding where to connect them. Because, as you noticed above, the models are now dynamic and use different ports files depending on the situation.

Tomorrow I'll experiment with Moltke.

You've hit the nail on the head, that's exactly what happens. yessmiley

But the game has to know what to assemble. So the parts have to be listet somewhere so the program knows what parts to put what ship.

Created models according to new rules. You can see them in the test section and compare with the old ones.
For example Z-23 and Dante Alighieri for comparison with the pictures above.

Most ships seem to be fixed. Only ones I found so far still missing elements are Agincourt and Yahagi.

Andrea Doria too.

Almost all the ships are fixed laugh

But as portugueseotaku said, HMS Agincourt lacks the boats and their supports

If it's any use, one of the boats it uses is the "BM529_50ft_steam_pinnace".

alicenews was right. Knowing what to look for, I found how where additional files are listed. Before that, I used the heuristic method of selecting files.
Will update Ripper and rebuild models soon. Perhaps this will fix the remaining bugs.

Done. Test models are updated again.

Also, submarines are missing various models.

I cannot find the model files. Nobody knows exactly where they lie? There is nothing on the path specified in the ship parameters.

The submarine models were fixed when you first updated the test version. If you are talking about the submarines that don't load, like the soviet ones, that's because they are not currently in the game client. Not much can be done about that.
