В процессе работы над моделями парусников выяснилось, что применяемый метод извлечения моделей не удачен. Попробую вернуться к старому методу, который используется в Heliborne.
Так же стало не хватать возможностей формата хранения моделей на сайте. Буду переделывать.
Поэтому ближайшие пару месяцев ничего нового на сайте не обещаю.

Удачи!!! Список моделей и так внушительный. Можете к абстрактным названиям кораблей добавить их исторические имена. Например Cutter - HMS Alert(1777), Frigate - Херувимъ.

Hello macmep, sincerelly (and unfortunatly) I don't know what you are speaking about, hope nothing too serius; well yes at the first some models have some problems with some surfaces, those with textures seems good, but there are some problems also with textures; i don't know how they works, but it seems you confused and mixed some of them, i put here an example, maybe it can help you to find out what appened.
Let me say again you have done a great job extracting these models, even better working on textures and also with whole site.

Can't upload an image from the site, anyway the ship is the pandora (the edit and delete system doesn't work very well)

As I said earlier, the new model extraction method was unsuccessful. I will remake the models, but it will take some time.

Hello Macmep, i would like to ask you if you have looked at gun's files to see if a model can be extracted or if you plan to do, otherwise maybe can you tell me how you extract the models so i can do by my own?

Find, view and export models conveniently in the program Asset Studio from Perfare https://github.com/Perfare/AssetStudio
I use my own scripts.

Hello Мастер Моделей hope to not bother you too much, but are those models development ended? i see some models still have some issue on texture and maybe some other issue.
Some times ago (maybe march) you added models with coloured texture integrated, but now can't find them anymore. How do you do this? and why the other models don't have them? (under an example of what i mean)
I also tried to use asset studio for extract the models (in the last months i got really busy) , i search on web and watch videos to learn how to use it, loaded assets, but can't be albe to extract a single model.
I really wanted to help on the work of this site, but it seems i'm not really able to do that.

Launch AssetStudio
File > Load folder > select game root folder
Wait for the assets to load
Type "Universal" in the search bar and press "Enter" or
In level44 pack you will find several ships as "UniversalShipname". Other ships in packages level45 and level46
Select and check the box the desired ship
Execute Model > Export Selected Objects > select folder for ship model
Previously, you can configure the export mode in the program settings Options > Export options
In the resulting model, you will have to remove unnecessary details. Or you can try disabling them before exporting

Thanks, but that's what i done, but when i go to extract appear an error message, which say "the initializer of type of AssetStudio.Fbx had generated an error" and then it crash.
As you can see it reports several path in C that not exists, did i miss to install something?

These are the settings I use. And it seems you are trying to export with animation. Try it without animation.

I always export without animation, now i deactivated "convert audioclip to wav(pcm)" and at least it didn't crash, but still got the error; also i have different options, i don't know what could be the problem

It might be worth reinstalling and the required .NET Framework 4.7.2 and Microsoft Visual C ++ 2017 Redistributable, as indicated on the program's website.
I am still using version 0.12 of the program.

I reinstalled the 2, but no change, how do i get the v 0.12? there are only a bounch of file in .cs and no .exe, the rar of latest version is completely different, i just downloaded it, put on desktop and run the .exe, have i done something wrong? no explaining on site

Thanks Мастер Моделей, v0.12 works fine, i tried on a model and there is the problem of the too many add wrong surface (don't know why they have it) yours are already "fixed" and are better, but how do you menaged to extract/apply game's colours the mesh?
I also found ho to extract gun's models; there are 6 types of cannons (not including carros and obuisers) but i think only 2 models for them, or 3, the files with the right names are empty when extract, i found the models but the names are little confusing and i need to compare on game and work on them (also this ones have multy mesh problems) when i extract and organised them i'll send to you via facebook, but without texture, i don't know how to work on it yet.

By the way, ship models exist in different versions. In addition to the UniversalShipname there is also OpenWorldShipname and ClientShipname.
As for the extra surface, before exporting, you can specify what to export. For example, you only need lod0. You probably don't need cameras, view points and the like either.
What are the problems with textures?
